Welcome to Aura Dating. Auradating.co is an Application (the “Application”) owned and operated by Aura Dating, LLC (the “Company” “us” and/or “we”), a California limited liability company, in conjunction with the Company’s cloud-based video-first dating platform through which Users create profiles, match with other Users, schedule and conduct in-app video calls, and, only where both Users mutually opt in after a call, exchange in-app messages (“Application”). The Application, Features and any other services or products we may offer from time to time (as defined herein below) constitute the “Aura Dating Application.”
The Aura Dating platform collects and processes certain information that Users submit, as described throughout in this Privacy Policy. The Company reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy in accordance with the terms herein and reflected in the Terms of Service.
Definitions
For the purposes of this Privacy Policy:
Account means a unique account or profile created for You to access the Aura Dating Application.
Affiliate means any entity that controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with a
party, where “control” means the direct or indirect ownership of fifty percent (50%) or more of
the voting interests or equivalent management authority.
Company (referred to as “the Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) means Aura Dating, LLC.
Country refers to the United States.
Device means any device capable of accessing the Aura Dating Application, including computers, mobile phones, tablets, or similar hardware.
Personal Information means information that identifies, relates to, describes, or is reasonably capable of being associated with a particular individual or household.
Sale means selling, renting, releasing, disclosing, disseminating, making available, transferring, or otherwise communicating personal information to another business or third party for monetary or other valuable consideration, as defined under applicable privacy law.
Sensitive Personal Information means Personal Information that reveals a consumer’s precise geolocation, sexual orientation, or government-issued identifier, and any other category treated as sensitive under applicable law.
Service refers to the Aura Dating Application, including the Application, platform features, and related tools and support.
Third-Party Processor means any natural or legal person who processes data on behalf of the Company. This includes third-party companies or individuals engaged to provide functionality, analytics, hosting, payment processing, communications, or other components of the Aura Dating Application.
Third-Party Social Media Service means any website, platform, or social network through which a User may log in to or create an Account for access to the Aura Dating Application.
Usage Data refers to information automatically collected through the Aura Dating Application, such as device identifiers, browsing behavior, feature usage, crash logs, or performance data.
You means the individual, who is eighteen (18) years of age or older, accessing or using the Aura Dating Application.
We collect information from You when You create an Account, complete a form, complete identity verification, build or edit your profile, join video calls or otherwise use the video function, use features within the Application, match and communicate with other Users, or otherwise interact with the Aura Dating Application. The categories of information we may collect include:
To help confirm that Users are real people who match their profile photos, we use a selfie verification step at registration. You take a selfie within the Application, which is compared against your profile photo(s) to confirm a likely match. We do not require or collect a government-issued ID for this verification.
When You use the Aura Dating Application to complete purchase transactions or otherwise use the payment gateway, we may collect:

We collect your city or general location and, with your permission, real-time precise or approximate device geolocation. We use location to confirm that you are within an active service area and to operate location-dependent features. You may use the Application’s location features only by granting the relevant device permission; you may also be able to enter your city manually where permitted.
Aura Dating does not record or store the audio or video content of video calls between Users. We may collect:

Some information we collect is treated as Sensitive Personal Information under applicable law, including your orientation preferences, government-issued identification used for verification, and precise geolocation. We collect and use Sensitive Personal Information only to operate, secure, and provide the Aura Dating Application, including matching, identity verification, service-area validation, and safety and Terms enforcement, and not to infer characteristics about you for advertising. Where required by law, you may direct us to limit our use of your Sensitive Personal Information, as described in “Your Privacy Rights” below.
We may use the information we collect from You in the following ways:

We do not sell Your personally identifiable information. We may disclose certain information as required to operate the Aura Dating Application, including through integrated APIs or third-party

These parties are permitted to use personal information only as necessary to perform their functions. In the event the company materially changes this policy in the future where the use, disclosure, or transfer of personal information for purposes not described in this Privacy Policy, we will update this policy and provide notice as required by law. When consent is required by law, we will obtain your consent prior to changing this policy.
We may also disclose information if we believe it is necessary to comply with law, enforce our Terms, or protect the rights, property, or safety of Aura Dating, our Users, or others. If Aura Dating undergoes a merger, acquisition, or similar corporate transaction, personal information may be transferred to a successor entity.
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials.
We may aggregate, anonymize, or de-identify information to create analytics, reports, perform an operations function, benchmarking, business intelligence, advertising, market insights, product development, or insights that do not identify any individual. We may use or share such aggregated or de-identified data for any lawful purpose. This processing is conducted solely for the purpose of operating, maintaining, and improving the Aura Dating Application, and is not used for advertising, marketing, or any other purpose not stated herein.
Occasionally, at our discretion, we may include or offer third party products or services on the Aura Dating Application, including “Vendors” as defined in the Terms of Service. These third-party sites
have separate and independent privacy policies. We therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites. Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of the Aura
Dating Application and welcome any feedback about these sites.
When Users interact with one another through the Aura Dating Application, certain information such as names, contact details, account details, and the content of communications may be shared between the interacting Users. Any information a User chooses to disclose directly to another User is shared voluntarily and at the User’s own risk.
Aura Dating does not control how other Users may use or disclose information that You choose to share with them, and we are not responsible for any actions taken by any other User with respect to such information. Users are responsible for exercising appropriate discretion when sharing personal information and for complying with all applicable privacy laws when handling information obtained through the Aura Dating Application.
You may request deletion of your Aura Dating Account and associated data through the in-app account-deletion flow or by contacting us at info@auradating.co. Upon a verifiable request, we will delete your Account and associated Personal Information from our active systems, except where retention is required for legal, financial, compliance, safety, or dispute-resolution purposes. We will inform you of any data retained and the duration of such retention, and we will direct our service providers to delete your data unless retention is required by law. We do not retain the content of video calls. We retain limited message context associated with a report for 90 days to support safety review.
Identity-verification images are retained by our verification provider in accordance with its policies, not in our primary systems. Deleting your Aura Dating Account does not cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription; you must manage subscriptions through your app-store account.
Because we value your privacy we have taken the necessary precautions to be in compliance with the California Online Privacy Protection Act. We therefore will not distribute your personal information to outside parties without your consent.
Residents of the State of California, under certain provisions of the California Civil Code, have the right to request from companies conducting business in California a list of all third parties to which the company has disclosed certain personally identifiable information as defined under California law during the preceding year for third party direct marketing purposes. You are limited to one request per calendar year. In your request, please attest to the fact that you are a California resident and provide a current California address for our response. We are in compliance with the requirements of COPPA (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act). The Aura Dating Application is intended to be used by those who are at least eighteen (18) years old. It is not directed to children under the age of thirteen (13) years old, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of thirteen (13) years old, nor do we knowingly allow those under the age of eighteen (18) years old to register for the Application.
If we become aware any User violates this section, we will reasonable steps to disable the account and delete this information, unless we are required by law to retain this information.
This online Privacy Policy applies only to information collected through the Aura Dating Application and not to information collected offline.
If we decide to change our Privacy Policy, we will post those changes on this page.
We have implemented security measures we consider reasonable and appropriate to protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. Please be advised, however, that while we strive to protect your personally identifiable information and privacy, we cannot guarantee or warrant the security of any information you disclose or transmit to us online and are not responsible for the theft, destruction, or inadvertent disclosure of your personally identifiable information. In the unfortunate event that your “personally identifiable information” (as the term or similar terms are defined by any applicable law requiring notice upon a security breach) is compromised, we may notify you by email (at our sole and absolute discretion) to the last email address you have provided us in the most expedient time reasonable under the circumstances; provided, however, delays in notification may occur while we take necessary measures to determine the scope of the breach and restore reasonable integrity to the system as well as for the legitimate needs of law enforcement if notification would impede a criminal investigation. From time to time we evaluate new technology for protecting information, and when appropriate, we upgrade our information security systems.
You may contact us at info@auradating.co if: (a) you have questions or comments about our Privacy Policy; (b) wish to make corrections to any personally identifiable information you have provided; (c) want to opt-out from receiving future commercial correspondence, including emails, from us or our affiliated companies; or (d) wish to withdraw your consent to sharing your personally identifiable information with others. We will respond to your request and, if applicable and appropriate, make the requested change in our active databases as soon as reasonably practicable. Please note that we may not be able to fulfill certain requests while allowing you access to certain benefits and features of the Aura Dating Application.
The Aura Dating Application is primarily a mobile application, and we and our service providers use a combination of technologies to operate it, secure it, and understand how it is used.
In the mobile application. We and our integrated service providers use software development kits (“SDKs”) and similar technologies, including Firebase, Google Analytics for Firebase, Firebase Crashlytics, LiveKit, and RevenueCat, that may automatically collect device and usage information. We may also use device and installation identifiers, such as the Apple Identifier for Vendors (IDFV), the Google Android Advertising ID, Firebase installation identifiers, and push-notification tokens, to authenticate you, operate and secure the Application, deliver notifications, and generate analytics. We
may use these identifiers for functionality, security, and analytics purposes, and not for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can manage certain device-level permissions and identifiers (including resetting or limiting the advertising identifier and controlling notifications and location) through your device settings.
On our website. When you visit our marketing website, we and our analytics providers may use cookies and similar technologies. Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. You can refuse or disable cookies through your browser settings, but some website functionality may not work as a result.
This Privacy Policy as posted on the Aura Dating Services is the sole statement of our privacy policy with respect to the Aura Dating Application, and no summary, modification, restatement or other version thereof, or other privacy statement or policy, in any form, is valid unless we post a new or revised policy to the Aura Dating Application.
